500772 Commercial St RPPC from HALIFAX London England real photo postcard of Commercial Street in Halifax - London / this shows a very ornate lamp post with an extention for the trolley cars, I believe / you can read the awnings and signs fairly well; Drink Elect Tea, _____ Assurance Co., Ltd on the face of the building, Teeth Teeth, H G King on corner building, Post Office and Save____ on the double decker trolley, Berlitz School on the left, shave / not sure but with my magnifying glass the guy on the right most part of the card looks like he is in uniform / Kingsway Real Photo Series / WHS in an oval trademark above the divider line - has S 2304 on the bottom left corner / unused / minor corner wear

The Monument in the courtyard at the entrance to Charing Cross Railway Station is a replica of the Cross erected in 1291 by Edward I, to commemorate the resting place of the body of his dead Queen Eleanor, before its final repose in Westminster Abbey – Not Used

It is said queen Elizabeth would come and stay with Robert Dudley Earl of Leicester. We stayed all night at Woolpucks? Hotel had supper all night and breakfast
