C04213 NEW HIGH SCHOOL, Fort Wayne, Indiana
Indiana postcard titled: New High School, Fort Wayne, Ind / No 23 Wayne Souvenir Publishing Co., Fort Wayne, Ind / undivided back / postmarked Fort Wayne, Ind in 1906 with straight killer lines / addressed to Mr Paul Shellman of Grand Rapids, Mich / Note states: this school is just 2 blks from our store on Calhoun St - This school is on E Lewis St - This school takes up 1/10 (I believe) block 4 ways - The boys learn different trades and girls learn to do cooking and sewing here also / there are some wrinkles in different places on the card including the corners but since the card stock was so thick, the card isn't bent in those places, there is however a tear in the top edge (just to the right of the highest point of the school that is about an inch long - but it lays pretty flat and the only give-away is the lighter area just above the top windows that has had a tiny bit of the face removed / even with its problems, it is a very unique postcard of the time!!
