It is in what they call Monument canyon. The other picture is a large rock balancing on some clay dirt and has some different things growing on top. It stands on a small hill of its own. D04327 RPPC of HIGHLAND SCHOOL in Kiowa, CO This is a real picture postcard titled: Highland School Dist 16, Kiowa, CO showing the school and a car parked right outside with spoked wheels, but also a bunch of horse and buggys parked outside - picture is clear enough that you can see the long whip? that they would use on the horses / Photo by M R Kenny / divided back / unused / has Cyko with hollow letters (normally 1904 to 1920)in the area where a stamp would go / there is some darkness to the card that I am not sure was done when the picture was made or if it is age staining, very little corner wear

B06083 RPPC of Raton Ave in LA JUNTA, CO - J W Fisher Colorado real picture postcard titled: Raton Ave North La Junta, Colo / pub by J W Fisher - 7039 / postmarked Hamlet, NC - in 1911 I believe / the addressee has been penned out / there is a smoke stack at the end of the road that is sending out the black smoke that you see in the center of the card - appears that there is only one light pole for the whole street which is just left of center / has damage from something that was spilled onto the card, I assume because there are some spots, corners showing wear as well

F03196~ CO - MARSHALL PASS * 1909 Postcard is titled: MARSHALL PASS, COLORADO - BEST REACHED BY THE MISSOURI PACIFIC / just noticed that you can just barely see a train with black smoke coming out of the stack in the bottom part of the picture / card stock is a little thicker than normal / no identifiable publisher etc. / looks as if there is nothing but trees in the picture but if you look closely, especially with a magnifier, you can see what appears to be a cluster of buildings just ahead of where the train is positioned / postcard is postmarked Nashville, Tenn in 1909 / the edges/corners are bumped.

H03133~ CO*RUINS OF MONTEZUMA's TEMPLE This postcard is embossed, making the rock formations raise up from the card surface!! It is titled: Ruins of Montezuma's Temple, Garden of the Gods, Colorado #146 / postmarked twice in 1911 as it was apparently missent, and there is a stamp to that effect / postcard is in good shape with only the slightest bumping and part of the postmark circle is apparent on the face.
 

A04051 Narrows - No Cheyenne Canon, CO Colorado postcard titled: 5637 - Narrows, North Cheyenne Canon, Colorado - Canon being the spelling, not canyon / back states: Between two Declivities in North Cheyenne Canon is seen in this narrow pathway of stone a marvelous demonstration of the action of water upon rock, wearing it away inch by inch, foot by foot, until after centuries of perpetual motion this winding, curious passage is left with its walls of hieroglyphics and cavities, proof of the adage DROPPING WATER WILL WEAR AWAY A STONE. / HHT Co / light corner crease in the lower right corner, others barley bumped
 

F03195 CO - Pike's Peak SUNSET abt 1912 This post card is on an orange/red sunset behind Pike's Peak Colorado - just barely shows town in the foreground / copyright 1903 by W C/G Stiff - Colorado Springs - #9259 / can't read the postmark but the date is handwritten on the back / card does have some wrinkling/bending issues in basically each of the 4 corners - some worse than others and there is a little of the bottom left corner that is missing.
